CCP Announces Price Increase on Solution Acrylic Resins

KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 5, 2010 – Effective for orders shipped on or after March 12, 2010, Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) announces a price increase for Chempol® Solution Acrylic Coatings Resins and Coroc Additives as per the following schedule:

  • Chempol® resins, Conventional solids: 10-15 cents per pound
  • Chempol® resins, High solids: 15-20 cents per pound
  • Coroc® additives: 30 cents per pound

This action is necessary due to the limited availability and rising cost of certain key raw materials used in the production of these resins. Quality products and superior customer service have made Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) a leader in the development and production of polyester powder resins. Also, CCP is the world’s largest producer of polyester gel coats and the second largest producer of coatings resins.
